The overnight feeding might be the hardest to drop, but I say, if possible, try to drop that one and the naptime one. I lucked out and right around 14 months when I thought I'd never be able to drop the nighttime feeding, he just started sleeping through the night. I kept up the bedtime feeding only until he was 20 months. It was a great part of our bedtime routine, and I loved that one last cuddle and nurse before bed every night. I have a conceited/insecure friend?

Hello, I have a friend that I work with, who is a pretty girl, however she is kind of conceited, or maybe a little insecure. Usually when I'm having a conversation to her, the topic usually develops into her looks, or how hot people think she is, or how many men are in love with her, or that some woman or women are jealous of her. It makes me a little uncomfortable because often I don't know how to respond to her when she tells me things like this, and sometimes it even gets a little offensive because I feel as if she is bragging or TRYING to make me jealous of her. Should I just leave it alone and chalk it up to something that she just has to do in order to keep from feeling insecure, or should I maybe tell her something or hint to her that not everyone wants to have a two-hour conversation about how "hot" she is, etc. ? Overly interactive neighbor or am I overreacting?

I apologize for the length of this yet wanted to provide enough detail so that your opinions could be formed to help me determine if I'm just overreacting or if the neighbor is crossing the line. Here goes: I have recently and only temporarily moved in to my boyfriends house and everything is fabulous, except for one of his neighbors. I have expressed feelings of discomfort to my boyfriend and while he agrees that his neighbor is crazy, he is too nice of a guy to really say anything. For the past 4 years my boyfriend has lived next door to a family of 4. There is a husband, wife, daughter and son. At some point the wife confided in my boyfriend that her husband is crazy and she and the kids are planning on moving out once the youngest, her son, graduates high school. Over time she continues to give him little nuggets of info about her crazy husband and periodically brings baked goods and bakes treats for our dogs, though her family has no pets. In the past six months she has brought over more than 50 name brand shirts from a designer outlet store for my boyfriend. Following her sons recent graduation her husband was out of town for a few nights. In his absence, she allowed her son to throw a big pool party, complete with underage drinking. At one point, close to midnight, she came over asking to borrow some ice and when my boyfriend explained he doesn't have an ice maker, we use trays, she asked to borrow a couple. When there was a possible threat of cops coming to her house to break up the party,she rounded up all the trash and put the cans next to our trashcans in front of his garage. The next day she sent my boyfriend a text and then stopped by to tell my boyfriend what was going on, and to give him another bag of polo shirts. He ensured her he wouldn't mention it to her husband and thanked her for the shirts. Although I am clearly home all day, she does not come over unless he is home. We have only had a few interchanges and she gave me a couple dresses, which I followed up with a thank you card and personal thanks. She seems to dart from her car to the front door when I'm around and it makes me wonder why she seems to avoid me and then comes over multiple times a day when my boyfriend is around. When we decided to leave some clothes we were going to donate on top of a shopping bag full of clothes she left at the front door, to try and send her the hint, she moved the bag so that it was directly in front of the door on the welcome mat and then took the bag from the new phone book that was on the step and hung it from the doorknob with a box of turnovers. I'm trying my best to ignore her and to maintain the neighborly relationship between my boyfriend and his neighbors but I can't help but feel uncomfortable by her constant gifts, unsolicited advice, unsolicited and detailed personal information, and frequent interruptions. We've tried to ignore her when she rings the bell but she just calls, texts or comes back later at all hours of night/day. When my boyfriend and I talk about it I feel terrible because he can't control her actions and yet I feel like something needs to be said or things will continue to be weird. He is under the impression that she's just crazy but harmless. I find it odd that a middle aged woman thinks discussing her marital issues with her twenty-something neighbor is acceptable. I can't help but shake the feeling that there are some deeper issues going on with this family and I'd rather they not involve myself or my boyfriend. I want to be respectful and ensure that the relationship with the neighbors remains friendly, and at the same time feel like this lady is overstepping her neighborly boundaries and taking advantage of my boyfriends kindness. Her most recent gifts include nutritional weight loss drinks, bars and supplements because she remembered his mother saying he was trying to slim down. My question refers to fruits like bananas and melons whose skin can weigh quite a bit. If the nutritional information for a pack of bananas or a melon says "per 100g", are they referring only to the edible portions or to the whole thing, skin included? My mom usually buys like boxed flavored noodles or boxed flavored rice to cook as a side dish with our meat and veggies but we're trying to try something that has more nutrients. So when I went to sleep on 6/27/2011 I went to sleep and dreamed that I was just sitting in my room staring at my closet. I know that it has nothing to do with being gay because im the farthest thing from it and right after that phase of the dream I was having sex with a girl that I was rather attracted to. But they were different from my normal dreams. They were more real. Like after the sex scene I was walking with a friend and I saw this girl who lived in las vegas nevada. Like I was walking through a town of all wooden houses because I like wooden houses. and I picked up a saumari helmet and I wanted to get hit in the head with a chinese throwing star. and I did right after I thought about it. So am I creating ? or am I predicting ? But anyway Once I entered my deep sleep I dreamed that someone was knocking on my garage door for some odd reason late at night. I opened the garage door and I seen nobody.. so went to my front door. and It was open. I got really scared cause this dream seemed also very real. School has just let out. and James has actually been doing much partying (when I always wished hed come to football practice instead). so I let him sleep. but than if i remember correctly James was having trouble with something. I heard him from my room upstairs. It had to be something very loud for me to hear it. But when I went downstairs he was gone. Than I was for some reason riding in the car with my parents and they were talking to me about james. than we randomly stopped and looked at a group of kids coming out of a church who were extremely intoxicated. Hi fellow seniors, are you fitter now than when you were in your twenties?

I do have more fits, but not more fit. All the aches and pains I had in my youth have multiplied. I used to work out at two different gyms up to a couple of years ago because of my arthritis and degenerative discs I can no longer do that. I do more than average exercise for my age because of all of the animals I have rescued along with stretching exercises I can do at home. Confused about what my purpose is, how do I resolved this?

I'm 25 and had my life and career mapped out, nursing by the age of 27, own place, maybe a husband and of my lovely daughter in a top school. Ok but my life took a turn, I failed my nursin program by 2 points, and I still got debt smh. So now I plan on taking a semester off to demolish this debt, by January I should he back in school. I can own my own business, I can make my own hours, I don't have to answer to no one but the client, not the doctor, nurse manager, supervisor, or whomever else. The last thing on my mind is money, because I rather enjoy my job more than anything but both pay is excellent, especially a dentist. I have distraction, my home, my shift at work ( nights full time), men ( I like but then it's always something), and my Childs father. I know moving will allow me to clear my head, I been in this same place for 25 years, I been with a man for three years off n on and not it's officially off, I need change I tell ya and maybe that will lead me to a new path... If your not seeing anything on him, it may be mites. I have a guinea pig who had mites when I first got her. It never got that bad as to the point where she had scabs, because I noticed it right away. But have you noticed him slightly jumping? Almost as if he was about to have a sizure? Obviously it not getting that bad, but that can also be a symptom. Call your vet right away. They will be able to give you a definete answer as to wether its mites, fleas, or something else, and they can get your ferret the right treatment.

I think there are ghosts in my house?!?

Okay so I haven't actually seen them but my Mother was just talking about her "experience" with them. So first she says when its really late and shes on the computer or something she can see "a figure" out of the corner of her eye. But of course when she turns her head its gone. Also things from her dresser fall off on the floor and she doesn't even bump it or anything. And that actually happened to me today too. I was borrowing her computer and out of nowhere a can of hairspray I think just falls on the floor and I didn't even touch it. I like the "Love and be Loved" you have on there.... I do think though that it would look lovely on say your foot in a pretty cursive or something and maybe a little heart? I also think it would look great in black ink, but still have whatever you get look feminine. Having bandwidth issues on xbox?

I'm not really sure how to phrase this since I am not the biggest tech guy but recently I have been having issues with my bandwidth on xbox. I am having issues not lagging in games and it only recently started to happen, I checked and even though I have three computers running on the same connection as my xbox I never had issues before, but to make sure it wasn't the issue i unplugged all computers from the router turned off the wireless connection and plugged my xbox directly into the router and I am still having issues with bandwidth, ( so both the wireless connection and my wired connection for xbox is having issues). So what it boils down to is could port forwarding for my xbox increase bandwidth and if not do you have any ideas cause I have even tried changing the broadcast channel for my router in-case another router was interfering with connection. I feel trapped in my life?

I feel trapped in my life. I have always been the good child, in everything, home, guests house, and I hate it. I play computer about 10-12 hours a day in the past year, about 3-4 times more then before. I think its called my "outlet". Where I can be the bad child, I have real friends. I recently spent a week with my mom. The rest of my family was on a camping trip and now here I was with my mom. She worked until 2 AM or so, came home, slept, got ready, and did the same thing. I did all the animals, including chickens, roosters, dogs, cats, kittens, and my own personal hamster. I took care of them all, including litter box's for the cats and constant food and water refills. My father then comes home, complains about the house, and sits on his lazy butt and watch's T.V. He then eats some pizza then claims were going to clean the house in the morning. He go's out to where my mother works claiming he's simply going to bring a light there and come back, this was at 9:30 PM. He doesn't come back until 2 AM. When he does, I have cleaned a large portion of the house. When I go upstairs to see how he liked it, he simply said "I appreciate it, but you can get up and do some more tomorrow." This was the end of the line. I was a perfect kid my entire life, he would always talk about others complimenting my behavior. Now after 14 years of being "The perfect child" he cant give me one break. He has always complained, along with my mother. I have always been yelled at, and I'm sick of it! I am a human being, and try my hardest. They call me lazy, some call me stupid, but I need my computer even more when they do that. When they yell at me for being at the computer too much, or being lazy because I'm at it too much, I need it even more. Its my outlet, and after typing this I know it is. Puppy is getting over parvo need some additional help.?

Hi, my 9 week old shephard/beagle mix is getting over parvo. She first came down with the symptoms 10 days ago. I took her to the hospital 2 hours after I saw her throwing up and lethargic. She spent 4 days in the hospital and then came home with a strict list of instructions and diet needs. We have emptied our bank accounts paying for this and I wanted to post here before taking her back to the vet because I am narotic. The day she came home she was weak but much better. The day after and every day since, she was eating boiled chicken and rice and drinking water like crazy. I have been giving her meds prescribed for her diarreha, as well as a pasty nutritional supplement into her mouth daily to boost protein/sugar/vitamin intake. Anyway, she has had diarreha since she has been home, it started out always brownish, then it was looking yellow pasty-ish just yesterday. Now today it is a watery maroon/brick red/brown color. I have a bad feeling it may be blood. But she is still eating and drinking and is driving my other dog NUTS with how playful and hyper she is. So, if the parvo is supposed to be going away, what new things could be happening after its onslaught? I mean, if I take her to the vet, is there something linked to it that she could have now. If so let me know please so I can take her there, out of genuine concern, and not cause I am nuts and over worried. Oh, also she has not thrown up at all since she was in the hospital. Well, blood in general is high in iron, if I recall. However, the only type of 'cooked' blood product that I know people eat is blood sausage, and that is by European cultures, such as German, Italian, and English people. I do not know of any religions that discourage eating blood products. On a more personal note, I can not eat it because I know what black pudding is made of, and it does not appeal at all, but most of my friends are Scottish, and they enjoy it.

I don't eat meat and I've recently began to realize how little protein I get in my diet. I'm trying to get in shape and lose weight this summer, and I'm wondering what foods I can start eating to get my protein.
