Does nutritional information for some fruits include the skin in the portion weight?

My question refers to fruits like bananas and melons whose skin can weigh quite a bit. If the nutritional information for a pack of bananas or a melon says "per 100g", are they referring only to the edible portions or to the whole thing, skin included? This isn't specified on the packaging so I'm confused. The reason I'm asking is because I'm counting calories for my diet, so any help on this would be great.
