How is Hamlet parallel to Oedipus Rex?

My teacher at college was once saying that the Shakespearean play, Hamlet is largely parallel to Sophocles' King Oedipus. The question is, as it is found in most of Shakespearean plays (a href="http://greenzblog.com/literature/william-shakespeare)," rel="nofollow"http://greenzblog.com/literature/william…/a Shakespeare tried to force the established notions, for example, the initiation of tragicomedy. So, do you think that William Shakespeare clued that Hamlet had sexual attraction towards Gertrude?
