Don't know what to do...!?

So there is this girl that i'm somewhat good friends with, and i recently realized that i had strong feelings for her. Yesterday on facebook there was this status thing i posted, where you would check off the questions to whoever liked the status. for example one of the questions were"[] i have a crush on you" and then i would put an x in that little box if they did. And the girl I liked liked that status. So i didn't want to check off the ones that mentioned anything about liking her, but i wanted to be honest. So I decided to do it anyways. today i went on fb to see if she commented and she did, but all she said was "awe. (: " So now idk what to do. I don't know if i should just talk to her in chat the next time she is on, and just tell her again that i like her, and ask her what she thinks of me?, or idk what to do? i really wanted to tell her in person, but everybody told me to just be honest with this so now she knows i like her. We are friends but i'm nervous to even talk to her now. Please help me!?
