E cig cartrige question?

Well I recently bought a jasper&jasper xplorer e cig and while i was laying down i took a puff and got liquid from the cartrige in my mouth.. -_-... How potent is this **** cause I've read nicotine can be extremely fatal at certain dosage levels. Am I going to be alright from this and if this is a "frequent" occurance how serious is it? In any case an informed intelligible answer would be appreciated, I'm aware already I shouldn't smoke and all that. Thanks and best answer to whoever accurately and descriptively lets me know if I'm going to die from this fluid :P
